I wanted to share with you how cystic fibrosis touched my life and why I wholeheartedly support the Cystic Fibrosis community, specifically through the Breathe Easy Foundation.
You see, my family and I lost my two dear sisters to this horrible disease before they reached the tender age of 16. Even after all these years, the memory of their loss remains. I determined I would find an organization who is dedicated to being part of eradicating this disease allowing all of us to put this behind us.
If you are not aware, cystic fibrosis is a chronic, progressive genetic disease that adversely affects the respiratory and digestive systems in children and young adults. It is not an easy road for those who suffer from it nor their families. Unfortunately, those with cystic fibrosis may not see their 30th birthday, as was the case with my sisters.
I’ve found solace in their passing through my association with the Breathe Easy Foundation. They are a dedicated group of individuals whose sole purpose is to help families pay for the medical, nutritional and emergency assistance that oftentimes occurs due to the complications of cystic fibrosis.
I invite you to join me by supporting this wonderful organization. Your donation, no matter how small, will allow all of us to join together to support those who are facing this unimaginable battle.
I've worked with Laurie for several years with a multitude of clients. She does a great job at taking the time to thoroughly go through several options with her clients and offer cost-effective solutions to get homes looking as perfect as possible.
We have hired Laurie many times to stage our model homes in the Twin Cities over the last 3 years...she does a great job with bringing our models/specs to life to show how they can be lived in by our customers who walk through them. Thanks Laurie for everything you do and continue to do!
We had a great experience with Laurie the first time around and asked us to help us when we took on redoing our kitchen and updating the color palette of the house. The first time around she came up with some very creative designs for our master bedroom bathroom remodel. She is very easy to work with and doesn't hesitate to provide a variety of options that you may not have thought of or imagined would work together. We would work with her again!
We moved into our current house in 2014. After wasting too much time trying to decorate ourselves, we decided we needed professional help. Working with Laurie is one of the smartest decisions we’ve ever made. She’s professional, organized and talented. Laurie took time to get to know our style and our preferences. She had great suggestions and helped us stay within our budget. We redid areas throughout the entire house and we are very happy with the outcome. I look forward to working with Laurie on future projects.
We have worked with Laurie Mattson for many years and find her very professional! Laurie has an incredible sense of style and concept of design. We love working with her and would recommend her to anyone!
Laurie has been working with our team for over 5 years and has consistent professionalism, exceptional attention to detail and work quality with our clients and staging needs. I know when Laurie is assigned to a staging meeting with our clients she immediately puts them at ease on what needs to be done to get their home sold in a timely fashion. She can work within set budgets and her creativity shines within each home! Many homes sold within a few weeks!
Laurie is amazing! I hired her to help stage both mine and my sisters homes prior to going on the market. She had great suggestions of items to buy to help stage as well as how to use the current items in the home and what to remove. My sisters home sold the first showing. My house just hit the market again after trying to sell with renters in the home (extremely cluttered and not presented well). It's winter now, been on the market less than 30 days and had 10 showings with great feedback. We are anticipating that it will sell soon. Laurie does a great job telling you what is the most important aspects to focus on and where to spend your time and money. I had bought a couple of pictures and they weren't ideal size-wise but she figured out a way to work with them. I ended up changing them after she had been at the house but she had explained the process and what she was trying to achieve so well that I put it together easily. She's talented, easy to work with, has a great eye and is very flexible. After I sell my house, I'm going to have her come help me with my current home.
I have had the pleasure of working with Laurie for the past 5+ years. She has a keen eye for design and the extra added elements to make every space look immaculate! Her sense of style is interchangeable based on her canvas, which makes her one of the best! Laurie, I love your fun and spunky attitude and the excitement you bring to each project. I look forward to working with you for many years to come!
Laurie recently decorated our living room and we are extremely pleased with the outcome. She transformed the space into exactly what we'd hoped for. She took a lot of time to get to know our style preferences and, more importantly, how we use the space. We have really enjoyed working with Laurie. She's professional, organized, efficient, and very nice. We highly recommend her and would not hesitate to use her again.
What can I say about Laurie?! So much! She is a kind person and an amazing designer to partner with. I find her number one attribute to be her ability to make the process fun and enjoyable, while also bringing a unique design flair to the table. Her eye for color, pattern and balance is exceptional - as one can see in the rooms she designs. Her friendly face, smile and sense of humor are refreshening. She's such a delight to work with! Watching Laurie with her clients, I see them believe in her concepts, choices and easily give their full trust. Laurie is understanding, light hearted, loads of fun and has a way with her clients. Laurie is easy to collaborate with and an all star all around. I would recommend her to anyone looking to redesign their spaces; especially to those looking for a fresh twist in updating their interiors.
I've had the opportunity to photograph Laurie's work for several years on a lot of projects - so I've seen a nice variety of her projects. Laurie's design work is impeccable- she wins a lot of awards and you can see why at first glance. Everything is beautiful, classy and trendy. One of my favorite things about Laurie's rooms is they have the perfect amount of decor. Many designer really overdo things making it gaudy.. whereas Laurie's designs are very clean. On top of that, Laurie's a ball to work with!
I have known Laurie for a few years and through 2 houses, 1 condo & 1 cabin, she has always made my life simple by coordinating our decorations for us. From paint on our walls to furniture purchases and wall decorations, I have always been completely satisfied and happy with the results. I will continue to use Laurie's expertise and will recommend her services in the years to come. Her attitude is always positive and she will work around and fit in her ideas to my ideas and the result is always the beautiful vision I have had.
Laurie did a great job redesigning our great room! The new furniture she selected and the new layout made my room feel cozy and inviting while still having the touch of elegance. The attention to detail was superb!
My home sold in 10 days after using Rooms with Impact for my staging!
After having our house on and off the market for the past five years, we utilized Laurie services from Rooms with Impact's staging expertise. We changed the colors of a few of the rooms, replaced some of our furniture, changed room layouts, and added a few new accessories. Now my home is so beautiful I don't want to move!
Our previous Realtor "staged" our home with her personal supply of accessories, after 98 days with no offers, we took our home off the market for a few months. We listed our home with a new Realtor, and had Rooms with Impact stage our home. Our house sold in 1 day, with multiple offers, for asking price of $749,000!
Laurie made the process fun and exciting. Her common sense approach to decorating made our rooms not only beautiful, but livable.
Our home was on the market for 6 months before staging with Rooms with Impact, it sold in two weeks after staging.
Thank you for turning our house into a home. We never would of thought of the furniture arrangements, the rooms looked larger, more inviting, warm and cozy. We wish we would have met you when we moved in.
"Our rooms looked absolutely beautiful when you were finished, we are so happy with the results!"
